Why Make It?
I’ve always been interested in understanding what it means to be human. Our human experiences are recorded everywhere—from old stone tablets and books to photos, and movies. Every experience can be told as a story. That’s how I think about my sculptures: they’re made from different materials, each with its own past. When they come together, they tell a story, just like words on a page or movements in a dance.
