Anxiety
The weight of modern anxieties is a defining feature of our lives. Regardless of your point of view, it's stressful emotionally, physically, spiritually, and in so many other ways, just going about your business of living. I decided to try creating a piece that reflected a current thought, feeling, thread, or movement. So I chose to express Anxiety.
My stage is an old rusty license plate, with ball bearings scattered across the bottom, shards of broken mirror on the back, with rusty nails driven through the top with a mesh of steel wool. Placed at the back is a chipped doll head mold.
